Road Trip Resources
There's a few sites that I've found that contain information not really found elsewhere, unless you go trawling through TripAdvisor and the like.
Fuel. If you're driving a diesel powered vehicle, it's fine, diesel is everywhere. If you've got a petrol powered one that needs 95 or 98, then that may be something you need to look more closely for. This information isn’t really here for when you’re on the road, it’s more a planning thing. To have the info here to be able to plan.
Road statuses, some states have an easy to view map, some larger states have two maps, if you’re planning a road trip across borders or choosing a less driven path sometimes these status websites can help you choose.
Pub information. If you're looking for somewhere interesting to stay, the pub in a country town is it. But the information on them can be sporadic at best.
